PORT CHESTER, N.Y.—Zyloware Eyewear has announced the retirement of Christopher D. Shyer, co-CEO and president of the company, effective today, November 25, 2025. Shyer will remain co-owner of Zyloware and will continue to play a vital role in its future, the company said. Shyer has been a steward of the family business since 1989, steering Zyloware through “multiple economic shocks including recessions, retail shifts in product and pricing, the significant expansion of vision insurance, the COVID pandemic, and a chaotic global trade war,” the company said in an announcement.
