EssilorLuxottica to Acquire Signifeye, Expanding Ophthalmology Clinic Footprint

PARIS—EssilorLuxottica (Reuters: ESLX.PA) has announced the acquisition of Signifeye, a leading Belgian ophthalmology platform delivering patient care across 15 eye centers and clinics in the Flanders region. Services through the platform include a full range of eye healthcare, including medically necessary ophthalmic treatments and elective vision procedures, according to the announcement. The transaction further expands EssilorLuxottica's ophthalmology clinics footprint in Europe, following the recent acquisition of Optegra, an ophthalmology platform that operates more than 70 highly integrated clinics across the U.K., Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, and the Netherlands.
