Safilo Renews Global Eyewear Licensing Agreement With Pierre Cardin, Concludes Shares Purchase Program

PADUA, Italy and PARIS—Safilo Group, (SFL:MI) a leader in prescription frames, sunglasses, outdoor eyewear, goggles, and helmets, and Pierre Cardin, the historic Parisian fashion house, have announced the renewal of their global licensing agreement for the design, manufacturing and distribution of prescription frames and sunglasses under the Pierre Cardin brand. This renewal will run until 2031, the companies said, and underscores what they noted is “the strong collaboration between the two groups,” which began with the first Pierre Cardin eyewear collection in 1991.
