MILAN and NEW YORK—Organizers of the Sergio Cereda Eyewear Design Awards have announced the 10 finalists for the 2026 Award, who were selected from 101 global student submissions, marking a record year of international participation. For this 2026 edition, students were challenged to create Olympic-inspired eyewear and sunglass concepts designed for winter sport performance, extreme conditions and contemporary style, organizers said, a challenge designed to reflect the convergence of Mido 2026 in Milan and the Winter Olympic Games in the same city.
