The AOA+ Pledge Garnered 63 Signatures From the Industry, Marking a Commitment to Support the Next Generation of ODs

ST. LOUIS—The American Optometric Association (AOA) announced that the AOA+ Pledge has received 63 signatures from organizations across the eye and vision care industry. These organizations are committed to advancing the profession's next generation of leaders and are encouraging optometry students and new doctors of optometry to attend AOA+ 2026, the AOA said. To support this, the AOA and the American Optometric Student Association (AOSA) are providing travel grants to help over 2,000 optometry students, residents, new graduates, and faculty attend AOA+ at this year's Optometry's Meeting set for June 17-20 in Phoenix, Ariz.
