Queensway Optometric Centre Named N.A. Practice Fundraising Winner for 2025 World Sight Day Challenge

GOLDEN, Colo.—Optometry Giving Sight (OGS) has announced that Queensway Optometric Centre, located in Mississauga, Ontario, was the top fundraising optometry practice in North America for the 2025 World Sight Day Challenge, raising a total of $10,900. Queensway’s support began in 2009 and since then the practice has collectively contributed more than $145,000 to the Challenge, according to the announcement. Held in conjunction with World Sight Day, which is observed annually on the second Thursday of October, the Challenge aims to support the OGS mission of eradicating uncorrected refractive error through the growth and expansion of optometry around the world.
