WESTFIELD, N.J.—Medical Eyeglass Center (MEC), a national optical dispensary development and management company serving eyecare practices, has announced that Sondra Hoffman, a Fellow and past president of the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators (ASOA), has joined the organization as its ASOA ambassador. In this role, Hoffman will support MEC’s Optical Dispensary Development Diamond Sponsorship and help strengthen relationships with ophthalmic practice administrators across the country, the company said. Hoffman brings significant leadership experience and a unique practical perspective, MEC said in the announcement, adding that as a former MEC client and nationally respected administrator, she understands the operational realities facing today’s practices.
