RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif.—VSP Vision, in partnership with the Heart of America Eye Care Congress, announced John Luder, a fourth-year student at the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) College of Optometry, has been selected as the 2026 Dr. Frank D. Fontana Memorial Scholarship recipient. In his winning essay, Luder reflected on the principles that guide his approach to patient care, the announcement said.

GENEVA—Alcon (SIX/NYSE:ALC), a global leader in eyecare, has announced its financial results for the three- and twelve-month periods ending December 31, 2025. For the fourth quarter of 2025, sales were $2.7 billion, up 9 percent on a reported basis and up 7 percent on a constant currency basis, compared with the same quarter of the previous year. Reported net sales for the full-year 2025 were $10.
