Monica Van Duyne Named 2025 Fred Friedfeld Scholarship Winner by ClearVision, SUNY Optometry

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.—ClearVision Optical announced this week that it recognized the latest recipient of the Fred Friedfeld Memorial Scholarship, which is awarded in partnership with SUNY College of Optometry. The latest scholarship was presented to Monica Van Duyne, a fourth-year optometry student at SUNY College of Optometry. The Fred Friedfeld Memorial Scholarship supports optometry students in their education in memory of ClearVision’s founder, Fred Friedfeld. David Friedfeld and Peter Friedfeld, co-owner and vice president of ClearVision, along with the Friedfeld family, founded the scholarship in 2014 in honor of their father.
