LOUIS—The Global Myopia Awareness Coalition (GMAC) has announced its 2026 board of directors, bringing together a distinguished group of global leaders dedicated to advancing awareness and driving global action to address the growing epidemic of childhood myopia, the organization noted. In making the announcement, the group also shared that Meredith Bishop, global medical education, vision at Johnson & Johnson, has been appointed GMAC board chair for the 2026-2027 term and Roni Kennison, VP product strategy & development at UnitedHealthcare Vision, will serve as co-chair.
