IDOC Expands Its Network of Independent Optical Labs With Acquisition of GSRx in Arizona

NORWALK, Conn.—IDOC, an alliance for independent optometrists, announced it has acquired GSRx, an optical lab based in Scottsdale, Ariz. GSRx, will operate independently under the IDOC Labs umbrella, preserving its culture, customer relationships and service model while gaining the scale and resources of the broader organization, the announcement noted. It will join Three Rivers Optical in Pittsburgh, Pa., which IDOC acquired in 2023. IDOC said the acquisition strengthens its commitment to empowering independent optometrists with greater choice, enhanced supply chain capabilities and access to high-quality, competitively priced products and services.
