
The Vision Council Announces Merger of Contact Lens and Health Care Divisions, Names Jonathan Christie, OD, Vice Chair

ALEXANDRIA, Va.—The Vision Council has announced that its current contact lens division will be merging under its health care division, highlighting the shared interest of both industry sectors in providing quality eyecare and the power of sight to all. Jerry Warner of CooperVision, who serves as the current health care division chair, will continue to lead the newly united group, driving the content and conversations that will shape the division for success. Jonathan Christie, OD, MBA, FAAO, senior managing optometrist at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, has been selected as health care division vice chair, according to the announcement.
