
American Council of the Blind Hosts 2026 DC Leadership Conference, Focuses on Advocacy for Accessibility

ALEXANDRIA, Va.—The American Council of the Blind (ACB), a national member-driven consumer organization, has announced it hosted more than 225 attendees at its annual D.C. Leadership Conference, where participants took part in educational sessions, engaged with policy experts and met with members of Congress and their staffs on Capitol Hill. The conference, a hybrid event with in-person activities between March 6 to 10 at the Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel in Arlington, Va., focused on advancing key legislative priorities aimed at promoting accessibility and improving quality of life for people who are blind or have low vision.
