United Opticians Association Launches Initiative Focused on the Future of Opticianry

LEXINGTON, Ky—The United Opticians Association (UOA) has announced the launch of its new Sightline Industry Panel, a think tank that brings together leaders from across the optical industry with the goal of shaping the future of opticianry, the group stated. The panel, hosted and moderated by Hilco Vision, is designed to create a clear “sightline” into the challenges and opportunities ahead, the announcement stated, as well as explore what strengthens opticianry as a profession and the patient-consumer experience—two drivers that will guide the panel’s early work.
