
Bausch + Lomb Reports Nearly 725,000 Pounds of Contact Lens, Lens Care and Eyecare Materials Recycled Through ONE by ONE Program

VAUGHAN, Ontario—Global eye health company Bausch + Lomb Corporation (NYSE/TSX: BLCO) has announced that its ONE by ONE Recycling program, created in collaboration with international recycling leader TerraCycle, has collected and recycled a total of 119,715,074 units, or 724,922 pounds, of used contact lenses, eyecare and lens care materials in the United States. This is the equivalent of about five backyard swimming pools worth of water. “Seeing this program continue to grow year after year reinforces how powerful collective action can be,” said Amy Butler, vice president, global environment, health, safety and sustainability, Bausch + Lomb. “The ONE by ONE program makes it easy for eyecare practices and patients to make a real, measurable difference, and this latest collection milestone demonstrates just how meaningful those small actions can be.”
