PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y.—OPTYX New York will celebrate the grand opening of its new Port Washington, N.Y. location today, Thursday, May 7, 2026, alongside the launch of Gift of Sight, the company’s new community initiative developed in partnership with local school districts and nurses. Gift of Sight will help connect local students in need with access to eye exams, eyewear and vision support, OPTYX said in an announcement. The Grand Opening event will be held in collaboration with the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce, and marks a significant milestone for OPTYX as it expands to its 13th location in New York.
