
Carl Zeiss Meditec Reports Lower First Half Earnings, Plans ‘Package of Measures’ to Support Growth

JENA, Germany—Carl Zeiss Meditec announced earnings on Tuesday for the first half of 2025/2026, with reported revenue of €991.0 million for the first half of its fiscal year, down 5.7 percent from €1,050.5 million in the same period last year. When adjusted for currency fluctuations, the decline was 1.0 percent. Adjusted EBITA fell to €60.5 million, down from the previous year’s €112.6 million, resulting in an adjusted EBITA margin of 6.1 percent, compared with 10.7 percent a year ago, the company reported.
