Russ Steinhorst, CEO of Fielmann USA, to Retire; Dirk Hehenkamp Tagged to Take the Helm

HAMBURG, Germany—After more than 17 years with Shopko, Shopko Optical and Fielmann USA, Fielmann Group’s current U.S. CEO Russ Steinhorst has decided to retire, the company told VMAIL. Dirk Hehenkamp, the company’s current vice president of global markets, has been tagged to take on the role, effective June 13, 2026. Steinhorst is scheduled to depart the organization on June 12, 2026, the company advised, and Hehenkamp will assume the role of CEO of Fielmann USA in addition to his current responsibilities.
