ALEXANDRIA, Va.—The Vision Council Foundation has launched its 2026 National Sunglasses Day campaign in partnership with AccuWeather and The Skin Cancer Foundation. Celebrated on June 27, National Sunglasses Day highlights the importance of UV eye protection and encourages everyone to make sunglasses part of their daily routine. The partnership with AccuWeather and The Skin Cancer Foundation marks the first time these three organizations are joining forces to deliver a unified and comprehensive message about protection from UV light, The Vision Council said.
