ALEXANDRIA, Va.—This past Saturday, June 27, was National Sunglasses Day, which saw The Vision Council Foundation deliver the message of UV eye protection to fitness classes, an outdoor market, a trade show and over 50 optical shops across the United States, asserting that eye protection is a core part of a healthy lifestyle, the Foundation said in an announcement. The Vision Council Foundation’s work this National Sunglasses Day included in-person activations and education, industry outreach, consumer and industry research, partnerships with industry allies and more.
