RestoringVision and Government of Grenada Partner on Vision, Eye Health Initiative

GRENADA—The Government of Grenada, in partnership with RestoringVision, announced they have launched Restoring Vision Grenada, a Prime Ministerial Vision Initiative that will expand access to vision care across the tri-island nation, beginning with the distribution of 50,000 pairs of near-vision eyeglasses. Through this initiative, the organizations said, vision screening and eyeglasses provision will be integrated into Grenada’s public health system, reaching people through health facilities and community-based delivery across Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique over the next 12 months, bringing screening and eyeglass distribution closer to communities and helping to identify individuals experiencing vision challenges and connect them with appropriate care.
