MIAMI—Innovative Eyewear, Inc. (NASDAQ: LUCYW), the developer of smart eyewear under the Lucyd, Nautica, Eddie Bauer and Reebok brands, has announced a partnership with Eye Recommend, a network of Canadian independent optometry clinics, to provide its smart eyewear to more than 600 independent optical practices across Canada, which the company says will significantly broaden the accessibility of its smart eyewear in this market. In making the announcement, Innovative Eyewear highlighted the role that buying groups such as Eye Recommend serve in the industry, facilitating independent optometrists' access to a variety of frame and lens products, as well as simplified, consolidated billing, and opportunities for continuing education.
