Chicago College of Optometry’s Dr. Parres M. Wright Selected for National Eye Health Education Program Planning Group

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill.—Midwestern University has announced that Parres M. Wright, OD, FAAO, associate professor and clinic care lead at the Chicago College of Optometry, has been appointed to the National Eye Health Education Program (NEHEP) Planning Group under the National Eye Institute, part of the National Institutes of Health. The NEHEP Planning Group is a national team of leading professionals in eye health, public health communication, and community outreach. Members advise on the development and implementation of NEHEP activities, recommend program priorities, review educational resources, and help align efforts across the NEHEP Partnership, the announcement stated. They also contribute directly to NEHEP’s mission of making eye health a national public health priority.
