DENVER, Colo.—Vision Source, a North American network of independent private practice optometrists, welcomed more than 3,000 member doctors, staff and industry partners to The Exchange 2025, its annual event, held this year in Denver, Colorado, from April 30 through May 3. For 2025, The Exchange was themed “Ascend,” and celebrated a renewed mission to elevate patient care, practice health and the future of optometry, Vision Source stated. The opening session set a bold tone, the organization noted, as Glenn Ellisor, OD, founder of Vision Source, and newly appointed president Amir Khoshnevis, OD, shared a stage, marking a full-circle moment for the organization. This marks the first time in over a decade that Vision Source is led by a practicing optometrist, the organization stated, a leader who they noted understands the realities and rewards of private practice. Dr. Ellisor said, “This team is aligned, energized, and unified to serve you—our members. Dr. Amir Khoshnevis is not just a new leader; he’s the right leader at the right time.”
