Safilo Group Announces Sales Growth, Solid Financial Performance in First Quarter of 2025

PADUA—The board of directors of Safilo Group S.p.A. has reviewed and approved the group’s key performance indicators for the first quarter of 2025, the company announced, reporting an increase in sales and a continued expansion of margins and cash flow generation. In the first quarter of 2025, Safilo's net sales amounted to €285.8 million, up 2.2 percent at constant exchange rates and 3.1 percent at current exchange rates compared with the same period the prior year, the company stated. Sales performance was positive across most brands in the group’s portfolio; in particular, Safilo reports, Smith strengthened its position in the North American market for ski goggles and helmets, and Carrera and David Beckham consolidated the strong momentum both brands saw in 2024. Polaroid, Tommy Hilfiger, Carolina Herrera, Boss, Hugo and Marc Jacobs all also saw growth in the quarter, the company said, adding that performance was driven by growth in Europe and the Asia Pacific region, with recovery seen in North America.
