Sight Sciences Announces First Quarter 2025 Revenues

Published on May 9, 2025
MENLO PARK, Calif.—Sight Sciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: SGHT), an eyecare technology company, has announced financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2025, reporting first quarter 2025 total revenue of $17.5 million, a decrease of 9 percent compared with the same period in the prior year. This decline was primarily due to lower revenue from the company’s surgical glaucoma segment, which decreased 6 percent compared with the same period in the prior year, the company said. The expected decrease was primarily due to the new Medicare Local Coverage Determinations (LCDs) that restricted Medicare coverage for multiple Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) procedures when performed at the same time as a cataract procedure, the company stated.
