Design Eyewear Group Acquires Menrad Brand, Including Licensing Agreements With Jaguar, Joop! and Morgan

AARHUS, Denmark—Design Eyewear Group, a Danish company that designs, develops and markets a range of eyewear brands, is taking over full proprietary ownership of the brand Menrad, including its design rights and technical assets. This also includes licensing agreements with Jaguar, Joop! and Morgan. Formerly under the umbrella of the 125-year-old German eyewear manufacturer Menrad, these brands each bring a distinctive identity, established customer base and international recognition that align with Design Eyewear Group’s values and expertise, the company said. Design Eyewear Group will take over the brands beginning June 10, 2025.
