CooperVision and Greg Pearl, OD, Named First-Ever Recipients of Brien Holden Founders Award

GOLDEN, Colo.—Optometry Giving Sight (OGS), an organization dedicated to providing accessible vision and eye health services, has announced that CooperVision, Inc., and Greg Pearl, OD, have been selected as the recipients of the organization’s first-ever Brien Holden Founders Awards. These prestigious honors, established in memory of professor Brien Holden, Ph.D., the late founder of OGS, celebrate those who have made remarkable and impactful contributions to advancing global vision care, OGS said in a statement. The awards will be presented at the inaugural Brien Holden Founders Award dinner on October 7 in Boston, Mass., preceding the American Academy of Optometry’s 2025 Annual Meeting, the announcement noted.
