SUNY Optometry Professor Robert Chun, OD, Appointed to NESEM Committee, Participates in Vision Impairment Report

NEW YORK—SUNY College of Optometry has announced that Robert Chun, OD, associate clinical professor, participated in the creation of a highly influential report on visual field testing methods for disability determinations as part of his appointment to the consensus committee convened by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM), a leading scientific body in the United States. According to the announcement, the committee brought together leading vision experts to assess current practices and recommend standards for evaluating visual impairments.
