Latest Q1 Research From The Vision Council Shows Year-Over-Year Increases in Value for Most Product Categories

ALEXANDRIA, Va.—The Vision Council has announced the release of a new report titled Market inSights Q1 2025, which offers an overview of the size of the optical industry during the first quarter of the year. The report, which includes the total value and volume of core products and services sold by optical retailers, as well as an updated forecast for the remainder of 2025, estimates first quarter market value for the industry to be $18.2 billion. Findings also reveal increases in value for nearly all product categories compared with Q1 of 2024, the report said.
