EssilorLuxottica and Meta Announce Oakley Meta Performance AI Glasses

PARIS and MENLO PARK, Calif.—EssilorLuxottica and Meta Platforms have announced Oakley Meta, a new category of performance AI glasses that pair Meta’s AI technology with Oakley’s design and PRIZM lenses. This launch follows the success of Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses, which are estimated to have sold millions of units since their launch, the announcement stated. Oakley Meta glasses will be the next product line to come from this long-term partnership. EssilorLuxottica and Meta have been collaborating since 2019.
