Oakley Names Rapper and Producer Travis Scott Its First-Ever Chief Visionary

FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif.—Oakley has named rapper, singer-songwriter and producer Travis Scott its first-ever chief visionary, announcing a multi-year partnership that the brand said will reimagine its creative future. Scott is also the founder of record label Cactus Jack Records and its publishing imprint Cactus Jack Publishing. Through this partnership, Scott and his Cactus Jack team will work closely with Oakley to push the boundaries of design, innovation and cultural impact to new heights, Oakley said. The partnership will see Scott and his Cactus Jack creative team work together with Oakley’s team to create new campaigns, reimagine Oakley’s catalog of styles and offer perspective on Oakley’s future eyewear and apparel. The two parties will also create new eyewear styles together and introduce collaborative apparel through Scott’s Cactus Jack brand lens, according to the announcement.
