French Designer Olivier Lapidus Named President of the Silmo d’Or Awards 2025 Jury

PARIS—French designer Olivier Lapidus has been appointed president of the Silmo d’Or Awards jury for this year’s Silmo Paris show, which will take place from September 26 to 29 at Paris Nord Villepinte, Silmo show organizers announced. The announcement noted that Lapidus brings a fresh, boundary-pushing perspective to this year’s edition, by blending contemporary design, craftsmanship and innovation with the world of optics. His presidency symbolizes a desire to open up new territories in contemporary design, reflecting a president with his eyes set on the future, show organizers said.
