World Council of Optometry Joins Optometry’s Meeting for First Time

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.—For the first time, the World Council of Optometry (WCO) is holding its 5th World Congress of Optometry in collaboration with the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the American Optometric Student Association (AOSA) here at Optometry’s Meeting 2025. WCO president Sandra Block, OD, addressed WCO members at Optometry's Meeting here on Wednesday at the group’s member welcome session, highlighting ongoing initiatives, innovative projects, and the vital role each member plays in advancing WCO’s mission.
