LOUIS—The AOA Foundation—Optometry Cares and PERC Alliance have announced that Danielle Richardson, OD, and Kayla Campbell, OD, were presented with this year’s 2025 Golden Opportunity Award on June 26 at Optometry’s Meeting held in Minneapolis, Minn. Established in honor of PERC’s co-founder, the late David Golden, OD, the award is a collaborative effort between The AOA Foundation and PERC. It recognizes two exceptional early-career optometrists who have demonstrated extraordinary vision, leadership and commitment to serving underserved communities through independent practice ownership, the announcement noted.
