AOA Inducts Dr. Jacquie Bowen as President, Board of Trustees at Optometry’s Meeting 2025

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.—The American Optometric Association (AOA) has announced that Jacqueline “Jacquie” M. Bowen, OD, has been recognized as the association’s 105th president. Dr. Bowen, who was initially elected to the AOA Board of Trustees in July 2016 and to the office of president-elect in June 2024, was inducted on June 28, 2025, at Optometry’s Meeting, held June 25-28 this year in Minneapolis, Minn, during the annual meeting of the AOA house of delegates (HOD), according to the announcement.
