Texas State Optical Appoints Cindy Huynh as Interim CEO and President, Elects New Board Leadership

SAN ANTONIO, Texas—Texas State Optical (TSO) has named Cindy Huynh as its interim CEO and president, the organization announced yesterday. The news was shared following TSO’s 2025 annual meeting here in June, where they also elected new leadership to their board of directors, including Brian Shandley, OD, and Victoria Perez, OD, to their first three-year terms, Samir Patel, OD, who was re-elected to serve a consecutive term, and James K. Kirchner, OD, who was elected to serve as an outside director, succeeding Edward C. Buffington.
