Hannu Laukkanen, OD, MEd, Pacific University Professor Emeritus of Optometry, Receives A.M. Skeffington Award

FOREST GROVE, Ore.—Pacific University’s Hannu Laukkanen, OD, MEd, professor emeritus of optometry, was honored with the A.M. Skeffington Award from the Optometric Vision Development & Rehabilitation Association (OVDRA), according to an announcement from the school. Dr. Laukkanen was recognized for a lifetime of excellence in publication in the fields of vision therapy and vision science, and is only the second Pacific faculty member to receive the award which has been presented annually since 1971. The late Bill Ludlam received the award in 1977.
