Sergio Cereda Eyewear Design Award Opens 2026 Applications, Expands Eligibility Worldwide

NEW YORK—The Sergio Cereda Eyewear Design Award, presented by the Ross Viva Family Foundation in partnership with the Mido Exhibition in Milan, has announced its global expansion for 2026. The award is now open to international eyewear and fashion design schools, the Foundation said and remains exclusively dedicated to recognizing the next generation of student designers in the optical space. The Sergio Cereda Award is designed specifically for emerging student designers, offering cash prizes, mentorship opportunities and a live stage at Mido. Prior to this year’s expansion, the award was only open to young designers in Europe and North America.
