
OKYO Pharma Secures $1.9 Million in Non-Dilutive Funding to Accelerate Development of Urcosimod for Neuropathic Corneal Pain

LONDON and NEW YORK—OKYO Pharma Limited (Nasdaq: OKYO), an ophthalmology-focused biopharmaceutical company, announced that it has secured $1.9 million in non-dilutive funding to accelerate the clinical development of urcosimod, its primary drug candidate for treating neuropathic corneal pain (NCP). NCP is an ocular condition that causes chronic, severe pain and sensitivity of the eyes, face, or head, for which there is currently no FDA-approved therapy. According to the company, the funds will be used to advance key clinical milestones, expand research and development efforts, and build momentum behind urcosimod’s regulatory pathway.
