LA JOLLA, Calif. and BRISTOL, U.K.—Topcon Healthcare, Inc., a global leader in ophthalmic medical devices and digital health solutions, has announced a strategic investment in OKKO Health, a UK-based software medical device company that develops home-monitoring apps for vision testing. Topcon Healthcare’s seed funding for OKKO Health and this partnership aims to empower patients to monitor their vision from home, facilitating more proactive and timely engagement with their health care providers, according to the announcement. Additional terms of the transaction were not disclosed, Topcon told VMAIL.
