Ocugen, Inc. Announces New Appointments to its Retina Scientific Advisory Board and Executive Leadership Team

MALVERN, Pa.—Ocugen, Inc. (NASDAQ: OCGN), a biotechnology company developing gene therapies for blindness diseases, has announced updates to its Retina Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) and executive leadership team. These appointments are intended to enhance external guidance from key opinion leaders and strengthen the company’s internal expertise in critical functions as it pursues its goal of three biologics license applications (BLAs) in the next three years, the announcement said. The company said it currently has programs in development for inherited retinal diseases and blindness diseases, including retinitis pigmentosa, Stargardt disease and geographic atrophy.
