VSP Vision Honors Five Optometry Students With Dr. Marvin R. Poston Leadership Award

RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif.—VSP Vision announced that it recognized five optometry students as recipients of the 2025 Dr. Marvin R. Poston Leadership Award during the National Optometric Association (NOA) convention that was held July 17-20 in Columbus, Ohio. Each award recipient earned $4,000 to assist with optometry school costs and were recognized for their leadership skills, community outreach, and career goals, including a willingness to pursue employment in a private practice setting that can help close the gap in eyecare services in underserved communities, the announcement said.
