Industry Veterans Ben Rollins and Dan Bruton Acquire Eyenavision and Chemistrie Clips

PITTSBURGH—Eyewear industry leaders Ben Rollins and Dan Bruton, well-known for leading Axon Optics and SportRx, respectively, have acquired Eyenavision, the company behind the patented Chemistrie magnetic clip-on lens system, Eyenavision announced late last month. Eyenavision said this move reinforces Rollins’ and Bruton’s long-standing commitment to innovation and growth in the vision care space. Eyenavision launched Chemistrie Clips in 2008, delivering a simple, customizable lens solution that lets practices offer sun protection, reading magnification, migraine and light-sensitivity relief, blue-light blocking, and color-deficiency correction with seamless integration into any prescription frame, the announcement said.
