ALEXANDRIA, Va.—The Vision Council reiterated its commitment to developing and advancing optical technical standards, to ensure safety, quality, and innovation across a wide range of optical products, according to an announcement from the organization. By collaborating with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) on domestic guidelines and actively contributing to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) committees, The Vision Council has helped update technical standards for safety and sports eyewear, streamlined communication tools, and contributed to discussions on pressing topics affecting both medical and consumer products.
