WATERLOO, Ontario—The Centre for Ocular Research & Education (CORE) issued the latest edition of its Contact Lens Update, which focuses on how artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping contact lens practices as it is incorporated into tools to enhance fitting accuracy, streamline workflows, and personalize treatment. “AI breakthroughs are altering the way clinicians approach fitting and monitoring contact lenses, particularly for patients with complex corneal profiles or coexisting ocular surface conditions,” said Daddi Fadel, DOptom, FSLS, FBCLA, FAAO, FIACLE, clinical scientist at CORE.
