NECO Opens Brand New $2.6 Million Clinical Training Center

BOSTON—The New England College of Optometry (NECO) celebrated the opening of its brand new $2.6 million clinical training center on August 25, drawing nearly 100 trustees, alumni, faculty, staff, students, donors, corporate partners and community leaders for a celebration here, according to an announcement from the school. “The clinical training center you’re about to see represents a bold step forward in our mission to educate the next generation of optometrists,” said Howard Purcell, OD, NECO president and CEO. “It’s more than a facility—it’s a symbol of NECO’s commitment to clinical excellence, innovation and community-centered care.”
