DULUTH, Ga.—As National Vision (NASDAQ: EYE) continues with a strategic transformation in the second half of the year, Alex Wilkes, who assumed the role of CEO on August 1, recently took some time, along with Joe VanDette, chief brand and marketing officer, to discuss with VMAIL the company’s ongoing transformation initiatives. Among them are the recent announcement of a new corporate brand identity for the company announced in early August, as well as the brand transformation of its America’s Best stores announced last week, embracing a message of “Every Eye Deserves More.”
