ST. LOUIS—The AOA Foundation today announced the launch of a new sustainability-focused scholarship in partnership with The Silhouette Group. The Silhouette Scholarship is available to one second-year optometry student and will award $2,500 annually to the author of an essay that best outlines how they plan to contribute to a more sustainable future in eyecare as a doctor of optometry. Silhouette is known for its prioritization of both innovation and environmental consciousness in the design and production of its eyewear, the announcement said.
