PARIS and MENLO PARK, Calif.—In a highly anticipated announcement Wednesday evening, EssilorLuxottica (Reuters: ESLX.PA) and Meta Platforms, Inc. (NASDAQ: META) showcased the newest evolution of their multi-year partnership at Meta Connect, where they unveiled the next generation of AI glasses. Expanding on the category of products the companies have introduced to date, including Ray-Ban Meta and the more recent launch of Oakley Meta HSTN, the companies revealed the latest products in the brands’ historic lineages, including Oakley Meta Vanguard, Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) and Meta Ray-Ban Display.
